Lagimodiere Blvd Co-op Gas Bar and Car Wash

Project Details: Parkwest Projects Ltd. was awarded the contract as the Construction Manager for the construction of a new Co-op Gas Bar, C-Store, and Carwash on Lagimodiere Boulevard. The existing facilities on this lot were demolished and replaced with a 3,500 square foot convenience store, complete with a detached friction tunnel car wash, and eight canopy-covered fuel pumps serviced by four underground fuel tanks.

Deacons Corner Esso

Mitchell Co-op Gas Bar Redevelopment

Project Details: Parkwest Projects Ltd. was selected as the Construction Manager for the redevelopment project of the Mitchell Manitoba Co-op Gas Bar based on our established expertise in the construction of fuel facilities. Working adjacent to the site of the existing location, a new 3,000 square foot Convenience store will be constructed, which will service a 4-pump, 8-lane canopy covered fuelling area and a 5-bay wand wash car wash. Once complete, the existing fuel facilities will be removed and demolished with the existing C-Store being repurposed.

Selkirk Co-op Gas Bar Redevelopment

Location: Selkirk, Manitoba

Project Details: Parkwest Projects Ltd. is the Construction Manager for the redevelopment project of the Selkirk Co-op Gas Bar on Main Street in Selkirk, Manitoba for Red River Co-operatives Ltd. The project consists of the phased demolition of the existing Carwash, C-Store and Gas bar. These facilities will be subsequently replaced with an 8-pump, 8-lane, covered fueling area that will service 16 vehicles at a time. The gas bar will be serviced by a 2,500 square foot convenience store. A stand alone, 6-bay wand wash and drive through friction wash will also be constructed on the property.

Bridgwater Co-op Gas Station, C-Store and Car Wash

Completion: Winnipeg, MB
Project Details: Red River Co-operative became the anchor gas bar and convenience store in Winnipeg’s new Bridgwater Development, and Parkwest Projects was the proud selected General Contractor for this project. Situated on the corner of Kenaston Boulevard, Centre Street and North Town Road, this new-build included a new 3,411 sq. ft. convenience store, a 10 lane, 20 pump canopy covered gas bar, and a state of the art touchless car-wash.

Ness Co-op Gas Station, C-Store, & Car Wash

Client: Federated Co-operative Ltd.
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Completion: 2017
Project Details: Parkwest Projects continued its experience as an expert in gas station construction after being selected to build the new Co-op Ness Gas Bar, C-Store and Car Wash. The ~5,900 sq. ft. building included a 3,550 sq. ft. convenience store and a two lane car wash. A 20 pump, canopy covered gas service was installed as part of the project.

Esso Roblin & Taco Time

Client: Esso Gas Stations
Location: 5198 Roblin Blvd. Winnipeg, MB
Completion: 2018
Project Details: Parkwest Projects Ltd. acted as the Design Builders for the 19,500 SF empty property at 5198 Roblin Blvd in Winnipeg. The development included a new 2030 SF Esso ‘On the Run’ convenience store with a 600 SF Taco Time kitchen and pickup counter inside. The building consists of concrete piles, structural concrete slab, wood framing, sloped wood truss & shingle roof, brick veneer exterior, and storefront window glazing. Interior finishes include ceramic tile, ACT ceiling, store fixture millwork, 2 washrooms, walk-in cooler, and full kitchen. Outside there is a new 35’ wide x 55’ long four (4) post fuel canopy, and one (1) underground fuel storage tank. Asphalt surface parking lot, masonry garbage compound, and full landscaping. New site services including power, water, and land drainage was installed on the property.

Long Plains Petro - Canada Gas Station & C-Store

Project Details: Parkwest Projects was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Long Plains First Nation to bring the first urban reserve gas station to Winnipeg. Parkwest acted as the general contractor that brought the first piece of a long term urban reserve strategy to reality. This new gas station has allowed aboriginals with treaty status to buy tobacco products and gas exempt from PST right in Winnipeg. The project consisted of a 6 pump, canopy covered gas service along with a 1,500 sq. ft. convenience store.
