Stella’s Restaurant - Pembina

Client: Stella’s Restaurants

Project Details: After previously completing the CRU renovation, Parkwest Projects was recommended by the building owner to use for the work associated with the tenant fit-up. Parkwest Projects acted as the Construction Manager which included significant structural changes to the roof system to allow for the rooftop patio for restaurant customers. 

Joey Polo Park

Client: Joey Tomato’s Mediterranean Grill
Location: Polo Park, Winnipeg, MB
Completion: 2007
Project Details: Parkwest Projects acted as Construction Manager for the Joeys restaurant at Polo Park. The restaurant was a new wood framed building constructed on a salvaged concrete foundation. Parkwest worked closely with Joeys and their design team out of Vancouver to create a stunning facility. The project used exclusively high end finishes in the construction to ensure that the facility became a destination for their clientele while ensure the long-term durability of the facility. Some of the project highlights included a one of a kind retractable roof system on their patio, floor to ceiling wine coolers, floor to ceiling mirrored bottle storage behind the bar and under seat ventilation and lighting for decorative millwork and lighting finishes.

Nuburger Kenaston

Client: Nuburger Restaurant
Location: 1-1650 Kenaston Blvd. Winnipeg, MB 
Completion: 2017
Project Details: Parkwest Projects acted as Construction Manager for the Nuburger restaurant tenant improvement on Kenaston Blvd. The restaurant space was located in a strip mall where the space was previously a tanning salon and travel company. Parkwest worked closely with the Owner on all aspects of the project during construction as the project came together. The project involved total demolition of the space back to base building. Extensive trenching within the tenant floor slab for plumbing services and new HVAC equipment including structural reinforcing to service the new kitchen area were major areas of improvement involved with the project. The project was completed in approximately 4 months with the owners opening their second location to great success.

Ellice McDonald’s Renovation

Completion: 2017
Project Details: Parkwest Projects was contracted to complete the interior renovation and exterior facelift of the McDonald's restaurant. The completed project brought the location in line with the upgraded look of McDonalds across the country.
